A few points to note when choosing your Photographer
1. It's important to note that Wedding Photographers vary widely in their style and approach, so it's always highly advisable that you check out your proposed photographer's website and see examples of their work before booking.
2. Never book blind. Make sure you see your photographer's ACTUAL work, not someone else's!
3. Don't take website Testimonials as gospel. Always insist on seeing the original testimonial letter, written by the customer or insist on seeing some other verification that they're real, other sources of real reviews are Facebook and FreeIndex., these are independent places where people can place reviews.
4. It's vital that you ensure your proposed photographer has full indemnity and public liability insurance - NEVER OVERLOOK THIS!
5. NEVER take a Photographer at face value alone. By that I mean never look at their website and just book them. Insist on meeting your Photographer just to at least out your mind at east, afterall, this person is going to be around for about 6 hours (possibly more) of your wedding day so you really should feel that you can get in with them.
Event Photography
If you have an event: Black Tie, Charity Ball, Awards Ceremony - that you'd like covering then I now offer a new service. At no cost to the organiser I supply a shoot and print on the night service, guests merely purchase the shot(s) they want and can take them away on the night - with a donation going to charity every time. Please contact me to find out more info.
As well as being Wedding Photographers we also carry out Commercial Photography in Norfolk and Event Photographys. Our Event Photography can cover many different events: ranging from Charity Ball Photography to Photography of Black Tie events.
You can also find my website by searching for Mike James Photography or Mike James Photographer.
There's going to be a few changes in the next few weeks, firstly the website is going to get a complete overhaul, which is long overdue! Along with it the branding for this Norfolk Photographer will also change, to reflect the fresh images and lifestyle based photography I offer. Also, I'll be setting up a new brand that will deal solely with Commercial Photography, while Michael James Photography will deal with all social photography.
More details on this transformation very soon!
