I first met Laura & Adrian back in November last year.  A really lovely couple and local to me as well!  Many clients that book me are from outside the area so it’s a welcome change to be Photographing a Wedding on my doorstep.

As with so many couples they opted for the Pre-wedding shoot to help settle the nerves before the big day, it’s a great ice-breaker and also a great way for me to get to know them better.  We started out with a stroll along the beach at East Runton, as it’s an area where both Laura & Adrian grew up and have fond memories.  The sun was pretty low in the sky but we had plenty of light to play with.  We then made our way through some country lanes to an amazing viewpoint overlooking the sea with views of Cromer lighthouse too.  It’s not a viewpoint I’ve visited before and so was pleased to have been shown such a great vantage point.

Many people, not surprisingly,  start off on these shoots not really knowing what to expect.  In short the essence of these shoots is this, we chat, we shoot a couple of shots and then we walk and have another chat!  It all sounds a little too easy, and that’s the idea.  No odd posed shots, just images of you together hanging out – what could be simpler?

And so, with not long to wait now ’til their wedding which is next month, I’ll let you look through some of the images from that evening.
