Yes, it’s those guys again…Amy & Dan. You’ll remember their Pre-wedding photo session on Wells beach? So, here’s the real deal. A most excellent day at the stunning Southwood Hall with around 140 friends and family as their supporting act. The day started off being a bit shadey, some rain…but it came good in the end. Dan looked in good spirits, mainly because he was sinking some good spirits with his fellow partners in crime, none other than his best man (his brother) and his ushers. Southwood has a house on-site where the bridal party can get ready and it serves as a great look-out for bridal cars.
As the time got closer everyone was getting twitchy, especially Dan, waiting for Amy. Eventually Amy arrived with her Dad, while her two “mad as frogs” bridesmaids looked on. I’m sorry, did I say mad as frogs, I meant totally fruitloops. These girls were such a laugh all day, as you’ll see in the photos below. They also had two beautiful flower girls, totally gorgeous, holding baskets of petals and constantly hugging each other. Bliss!
After copious nail biting and emotional readings Dan & Amy had done the deed. And then we went headlong into games of football and giant jenga, while the Southwood Hall crew served up an amazing spit roast outside in the covered serving area. With around 140 guests for the entire wedding it’s hard to think everyone, I mean everyone, could get on…but they did. There was such a buzz about the place, everyone in party mood, especially the bridal party.
It was a long and happy day with a stunning sunset to finish it off. Perfect. I slipped away while Amy & Dan were wowing the crowd busting some moves, could have stayed all night. Brilliant.
