Well, where do I start? Beautiful venue, vintage camper van and a singing bride and all happening in the stunning North Norfolk. Uhuh…it was a corker!
Ria & Max have family in Norfolk but live further North. So bringing their new extended family to Burnham Market was quite an exercise, but well worth it. So the preparation begins…
Ria had a bevvy of helpers in the Hoste Arms where she was getting ready, all tottering around in massive high heels and looking stunning. Meanwhile Max was the other side of the building with his fellas looking absolutely slick, so hollywood….daaaarling. Yup, the fellas looked immaculate for sure! After a photo session with the boys I had to head over to Sussex Barns where the ceremony was taking place. Everyone was in excellent spirits and the bar wasn’t even open yet. It was an amazing day, tons of sun, great vibes and everyone looked tip-top.
After a slight delay Ria arrived in the most stunning Campervan a true VW vintage piece of kit….Ria looked pretty good too. Her very proud dad led her down the steps into the immaculately presented Sussex Barns. Max looked so pleased to see Ria, and Ria…well…emotions overcame her and she was bit teary walking up the aisle. But she managed to hold it together well during the ceremony though and was full of giggles as they departed after the ceremony for celebratory drinks.
The reception was held at back at the Hoste Arms, it was stunning to see this venue classically decorated with white flowers and table linen with a pianist gently playing as we arrived. Speeches came after the meal and were emotional to say the least. Max stepped up first with some words for his new wife and dad but Ria went a step further with a song for her man. Max was thrilled and a little choked as Ria sang to him accompanied on keyboard by a family friend. It was then time for Ria’s father’s speech…instead he pulled up a stool, grabbed a guitar and sang the classic Joe Cocker song “You are so beautiful” to his daughter. There wasn’t a dry eye to be seen. Magic!
