Tory & Joe’s Wedding in Kings Lynn
Based in Yorkshire, but with family in Norfolk, Tory & Joe decided it was time to tie the knot….in good old Norfolk!
Tory and her entourage took over the Captains room at the Bank House hotel, a stunning piece of history on the quayside in Kings Lynn. Large windows letting in beautiful light and the best views.
When I arrived for some prep shots with Tory she was having her make up applied, while mum and bridesmaids entertained her two gorgeous daughters. Amid the flurry of activity I zipped into the bathroom to get a few detail shots of the shoes and dress. Back in the main room and Tory’s oldest daughter is having her hair done, such pretty girls her daughters, clearly loving every minute of the attention. Not long to go and I had to zip over to meet up with Joe and his best man, wearing the most dapper shoes I think I’ve seen at a wedding. Before long the guests were arriving so I took up my position at the top of the room waiting for Tory’s arrival.
I can’t say I can ever remember a time when a bride’s daughter was so missing her mum that she had to stand there, while they were exchanging vows, and hold her hand through the entire ceremony. The most beautiful moment to have witnessed, so special indeed. That’s exactly what Tory oldest daughter did and it was a very emotional moment to witness. Once the ceremony was complete I had to steal away Tory and Joe and head over to The Walks, a beautiful park just north of central Kings Lynn. You would think you were in the middle of the countryside, it was so peaceful.
We had a lovely walk around the park, Tory & Joe shared some special moments away from all the hustle and bustle.
